We played a KidPix guessing game today. Can you put different shapes together to make a bird? We did. Here's our birdies. We used KidPix to make a garden of flowers. Here we are at work. Scroll down to see our final flowers. Here's our finished flowers.
Mrs. Augustin's class also shared the book Duck! Rabbit! We think it's a good example of Habit 5 - Seek first to understand and then to be understood. We each pictured what we wanted our final picture to look like (Begin with the end in mind) and then we used KidPix and created either a duck or a rabbit with enough details in the picture so that the viewer would know what we drew. Here's our gallery of how we started and then our final pictures.
Mrs. Sparkman's class also read the story Duck! Rabbit! and here's their paintings. Can you tell which ones are ducks and which ones are rabbits?
Mrs. Robson's Kindergartners read the book Duck! Rabbit! and then used KidPix to create a duck or a rabbit along with a clue to let us know whether it was a duck or a rabbit. Here's their paintings.
